Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

1. The service

CargoGo connects travellers with spare luggage capacity ("carriers") with people who need to send a parcel to a destination the traveller is already going to ("senders"). CargoGo does not itself transport, insure, customs-clear, or take possession of any cargo — it provides the platform through which carriers and senders find each other, agree on terms, and coordinate a handover.

2. Prohibited items

Senders may not ship, and carriers may not agree to carry, any illegal substance or item, weapons or ammunition, live animals, currency or bearer financial instruments, perishable goods requiring temperature control unless explicitly agreed, or any item whose transport would violate the customs or import/export law of either the origin or destination country. Every order created on CargoGo requires an explicit acknowledgment of this section before it can be published.

3. Deals and handover

A deal is formed when a sender's order and a carrier's trip are matched and both parties confirm. Both parties are responsible for verifying each other's identity and inspecting the cargo at handover. CargoGo's in-app chat, delivery-code, and handover-act features are provided to help document the handover but do not constitute a guarantee by CargoGo of successful, damage-free, or timely delivery.

4. Disputes

Disputes between a sender and carrier should first be raised through the in-app complaint flow. CargoGo may review submitted evidence and mediate, but is not a party to the underlying agreement between sender and carrier and does not guarantee any particular resolution or compensation.

5. Account termination

CargoGo may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or repeatedly fails to complete agreed deals.
